What you agree to when you use Gigwake, what it costs, and how to stop paying for it.

What the service is

Gigwake lists events happening within 5 miles of the address you give us over the next 7 days, ranks them by the crowd each one is likely to bring, and shows them on a map. It is an aid to planning, not a guarantee of trade.

Crowd figures are estimates

Every crowd figure is a range, and every range says what it rests on: registrations counted by the organiser, the seating capacity of the venue, or the typical draw for that kind of event. Ranges are modelled, not measured. How many of those people walk past your door depends on your street, your opening hours and a dozen things we cannot see. Use the figures as one input to a decision, not as the decision.

Where the listings come from

Event data comes from third party providers. Coverage varies by city and by category, and a provider can change or withdraw access at any time. When a source is unavailable, the dashboard says so rather than quietly showing you less. We do not warrant that every event near you appears, or that the details of any event are correct.

Your account

Sign in is by a link we email you, so there is no password to share or lose. Anyone with access to your email address can reach your account, so keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for the accuracy of the business details you enter.

Plans and payment

The preview is free and needs no account. A paid plan starts with a free trial of 7 days and then renews monthly or yearly until you cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe, and prices are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from your settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves you with access to the end of the period you have paid for. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged.

Acceptable use

Use the service for your own business. Do not scrape it, resell it, or republish the event data it shows you. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service running and accurate, but we provide it as is. We are not liable for business decisions made on the strength of an estimate, for lost trade, or for a provider outage. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the updated terms.
