What Gigwake stores about you and your business, who processes it on our behalf, and how to have it deleted.

What we store

Your email address, and the business profile you enter during setup: the name and address of your business, a sentence describing it, and the customer groups you pick. That address is the point every event is measured from, so it is the one piece we cannot work without.

If you turn on the weekly email, we also store the address it goes to and the day you picked, along with when we last sent it. If you start a plan, we store your subscription status and the identifiers Stripe gives us. We never see or store a card number.

Before you create an account, your profile is held in your browser only, so it survives the tab your sign in link opens in. Nothing reaches us until you sign in.

What we do with it

We use your address to find events within 5 miles of it, and your description and customer groups to decide which of those rank highest for you. We use your email address to sign you in and, if you asked for it, to send the weekly email. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Who processes it

  • Supabase hosts the database and handles sign in. Your profile and your settings live there, behind row level security, so an account can only ever read its own rows.
  • Stripe handles payment. Checkout and the billing portal are hosted by Stripe, so card details go straight to them and never touch our servers.
  • Resend delivers the weekly email and any message you send through the help form.
  • PostHog records product analytics. Automatic capture is off, so we only record events we named deliberately. Session replay runs with every input masked, so what you type is never recorded.
  • Google Maps Platform powers the address search and the map. Your search text reaches Google as you type it.
  • Event providers. To find what is on near you we query Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Luma and TheSportsDB using a rounded version of your coordinates, never your name, your email address or your exact address.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. Event results are cached briefly so that everyone on a block shares one lookup rather than each triggering their own.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time, turn the weekly email off from settings, and cancel a plan from the billing portal. To have your account and everything attached to it deleted, use the help form and we will do it.

Getting in touch

Use the need help link in the header or the footer of any page. It reaches us directly and replies go back to the address you send from.
